Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road - LIVE at the Alaska SeaLife Center
Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road have quickly become one of the most exciting young acts in modern bluegrass. Hailed by No Depression as "the future of bluegrass," the award-winning band blends Appalachian tradition with fresh songwriting, exceptional musicianship, and captivating storytelling.
Raised in Deep Gap, North Carolina—just down the road from bluegrass legend Doc Watson—Liam Purcell has been immersed in mountain music his entire life. By age 17, he had led Cane Mill Road to multiple Billboard Top 10 Bluegrass albums, performances in 25 states, and the 2019 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year award.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music and the only musician to win the RockyGrass Instrumental Championships on mandolin, banjo, and guitar in the same year, Purcell continues to push the boundaries of traditional bluegrass while honoring its rich roots. Joined by an outstanding ensemble of musicians, Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road deliver a high-energy performance that bridges generations of American string music.
Don't miss an unforgettable evening of award-winning bluegrass, heartfelt storytelling, and world-class musicianship.
