Jewelry Making Camp: Necklaces & Earrings with Jenn Haugh ðŸ’
Jewelry Making Camp: Necklaces & Earrings with Miss Haugh!
This camp invites young artists to explore the art of wearable design through a week of hands-on creativity. Campers will learn foundational jewelry-making techniques while creating their own unique pieces inspired by personal style and imagination.
Throughout the week, students will experiment with a variety of materials and methods including macramé with imitation sinew—to craft necklaces, pendants, beads, and earring designs. With a balance of guided instruction and open-ended exploration, participants will build skills while developing their own creative voice.
As an optional extension of the camp experience, students may purchase a take-home jewelry-making toolkit, allowing them to continue creating beyond the classroom. This kit includes essential tools such as needle-nose pliers, wire cutters, a macramé tying board, and a storage container. All students will have access to shared tools and materials during camp, but this option is ideal for those who wish to keep designing at home. Please note that this option is only available to add on before May 25th as it will take time to order and prepare.
Designed for ages 11–14 (or students entering 6th through 9th grade), this camp offers a supportive and engaging environment to explore craftsmanship, creativity, and self-expression through wearable art.
